The Circular PL is used to increase color saturation, darken blue skies so white clouds stand out, and eliminate reflections from nonmetallic surfaces like glass or water. It will also reduce the softness in scenery caused by atmospheric haze. This filter will not change the overall color balance of a photograph. An ultra thin frame also makes the wide-angle lens compatible.

Circular PL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections by selecting which light rays enter the camera lens. That increases color saturation to achieve better clarity and contrast, and at the same time leaves overall color balance unaffected. The ultra thin frame is also designed to reduce the risk of vignetting when use with wide-angle lenses.
The 6-layer high multi-coating offers revolutionary performance in light transmission and color balance. It also can greatly reduce the lens flare and ghosting caused by reflections.
